Pepê-aranha e gato-Borboleta (Spider-Me and Butterfly-cat) *r

Tem épocas que a gente trabalha tanto que só mesmo sendo super

Sometimes there is so much work to be done, only a super-hero can handle it.

Manchmal ist so viel los im Studio, man muss sich in Super verwandeln.

Marcolina (Marcolina) *r + *o

Marcolina é uma vaca adolescente azul e branca. Ela é descolada e independente, e adora tocar violão e guitarra. O brinquinho de harpa é pra mostrar, que ela não é uma vaquinha dessas previsíveis que ficam andando pra lá e pra cá com um sininho no pescoço e por isso todo mundo sabe o que elas estão fazendo. A harpa é um instrumento que tem que ser tocado de propósito, diferente de um sininho que faz ‘blim-blim’ à toa. Marcolina tem o maior orgulho de tocar a própria vida do jeito dela.

Marcolina is a white and blue teenage cow. She is very independent and really cool. She loves to play the guitar.
Marcolina wears a little harp-shaped earring to show that she is not a predictable cow like those who wear a bell around their neck so everyone knows where they are and what they are doing. A harp is an instrument that has to be played on purpose. It doesn´t go ‘bling-bling’ by itself.  Marcolina is very proud to live her life exactly like she wants to.

Marcolina ist eine weiss-blaue jugendliche Kuh. Sie ist sehr unabhängig und wirklich “cool”. Sie liebt Guitarre zu spielen.
Marcolina trägt ein Ohrring mit einer kleinen Harfe weil sie nicht so vorhersehbar ist wie die Kühe die eine Glocke um den Hals tragen. Alle wisse immer wo diese Kühe sind und was sie vorhaben. Eine Harfe ist aber ein Instrument das gespielt werden muss. Eine Harfe geht nicht einfach von allein ‘blim-blim’. Marcolina ist ser stolz dass sie ihr Leben lebt, so wie sie sich es wünscht.

Julietta und Trudi (Julietta and Trudi) *r + *o

Julietta e Trudi são fadas. São amigas a vida toda e vivem na mesma cidade. Julietta adora jardinagem e Trudi adora cozinhar. Nesta cena Trudi está ajudando Julietta a cuidar das plantas. Ela está regando uma violeta MgE (Magicamente Engenheirada/Modificada) enquanto Julietta a poliniza manualmente, já que nenhuma abelha quis chegar perto, mesmo depois de várias tentativas de persuasão, de uma espécie tão esquisita de flor.

Julietta and Trudi are Fairies. They are life-long friends and live in the same town. Julietta loves to garden and Trudi loves to cook. In this scene Trudi is helping Julietta by watering a tall  MgE (Magically Engineered) violet, while Julietta is polinizing it, since no bee wanted to have anithing to do with such a strange species of flower.  

Julietta und Trudi sind Feen. Sie sind ein Leben lang Freunde, und leben in der selben Stadt. Julietta arbeitet gerne im Garten und Trudi liebt zu kochen. In dieser Szene hilft Trudi ihre Freundin Julietta indem sie ein MgI (Magisch-Ingeniert) Veilchen begiesst. Julietta bestreut die Pflanze mit Blütenstaub, denn keine Biene will etwas mit so einer ungewöhnlichen Blüte haben.

Ilustrações Antigas-Modernas (Modern-Vintage Illustration) *r

 

Como fazer uma ilustração moderna parecer antiga?

As ilustrações abaixo são de um projeto em que o objetivo era justamente esse. As ilustrações são um híbrido entre o moderno e o antigo. Nas primeiras ilustrações foi utilizado um traço mais moderno com uma colorização à moda antiga, em preto e vermelho. Além do visual “vintage” essa solução permite uma impressão mais econômica, já que utiliza apenas duas cores e suas infinitas combinações.

No segundo caso o traço é mais conservador e as ilustrações são colorizadas com cores desbotadas, lembrando as fotografias antigas. É uma solução mais amena, mais sutil, levando em conta muito mais a sensação de se estar olhando para uma cena antiga, sem recorrer a recursos mais diretos.

 

How do you give a vintage look to a modern illustration?

The goal these illustrations were to achieve was precisely this. The project asked for a hibrid modern-vintage look.

The first group of illustrations were drawn in a modern way and colored like old school-books and magazines: in red and black. This solution gives the drawings a vintage look and is also economically interesting, as it is printed in only two colors.

The second group is drawn in a more conservative way and is colored in pastels, like the colors in old photographs tend to be. It´s a more subtle solution. It relies much more on the feeling that one is looking at a scene that took place long ago.

Como fazer um brinquedo Ultra-Super-Cuti-Cuti para o Seu Gato (How to make an Ultra-Super-Duper-Cute toy for your Cat)

Você vai precisar de:

MATERIAL
(Materials)

Um Kinder Ovo.
(One “Kinder-Ovo” candy.)

Catnip!
(Catnip!)

Uma pluma ou pedacinhos de lã colorida.
(A feather or some strings of colorful wool.)

+

ACESSÓRIOS
(Equipment:)

 

 

Tesoura de ponta fina
(Fine-pointed scissors)

 

Criança 
(Child)

(a criança é opcional)
(the child is optional)

COMO FAZER:
(How to proceed:)

Abra a embalagem de Kinder-Ovo e dê o chocolate para a criança comer. 
(Open the box of the “Kinder-Ovo” candy and give the chocolate to the child.)

 

Monte o brinquedinho que vem dentro do Kinder-Ovo.
(Put the little toy together.)

 

IMPORTANTE: Guarde a embalagem plástica em que o brinquedinho vem dentro.
Important: Do not throw away the plastic bubble the toy came in.

Dê o brinquedinho montado para a criança brincar.
Give the toy to the child.

 

(Observação: a criança deve ter mais de 3 anos para não inventar de engolir as peças e você ter que ir correndo para o pronto-socorro. É muito chato isso, além de prejudicar a montagem do brinquedo para o seu gato.)
(Note: the child should be at least 3 years old or older. Younger children may think it´s a splendid idea to swallow all the small parts the toy is made of, and you will have to rush your child to the emergency-room. This is really, really not cool. On the top of it all it can prevent you from making the Ultra-Super-Duper-Cute toy for your cat, which is even less cool.)

Abra a embalagem plástica e coloque um pouquinho de Catnip dentro dela.
(Open the plastic bubble and put some Catnip into it.)

 

Ao fechar a embalagem plástica de Kinder-Ovo, prenda a pluma no brinquedo.
(Stick the feather between the two parts of the plastic bubble while closing it.)

Basta dobrar uma parte da pluma ou da lãzinha e encaixar entre a tampa e o fundo da embalagem. Ela fica presa sozinha. Não requer cola, prática ou habilidade. Qualquer criança – acima de 3 anos – consegue fazer.
(This look hard, but is very simple. You just have to bend the feather or the wool strings and attach it to one side of the bubble, closing the other half over it. If you do it right it will stay firmly put. You do not need glue or any special tool or ability. Even a child -  at least 3 years old  or older – can do it.)

 

Com a ponta da tesoura,  faça pequenos furos no plástico. Os furos devem ser pequenos para o Catnip não cair para fora. Eles servem para que o seu gato consiga farejar o Catnip.
(Poke some holes into the plastic bubble with the scissors. Make the holes really tiny, so the Catnip does not fall out. They should be just big enough to allow your cat to smell the Catnip.)

 

O seu gato poderá ficar um pouco ansioso enquanto você prepara o brinquedo.

(Your cat may become a little anxious while you are making the toy)

 

Mas vai valer a pena porque olha só como o brinquedinho fica
SUPER-ULTRA-CUTI-CUTI!

(But it´s going to be worth waiting for such an Ultra-Super-Duper-Cute toy!)

 

Agora é só dar para o seu gato e ver como ele vai ficar feliz!

(You made it! Now just give it to your cat to see how happy he will be!)
